Not Dead Yet

although it seems like it, taking a short break working on some new stuff. Maybe it seems like we're done for but we're not, just to clear it up. New shit coming next year. Not soon enough.

Thank for looking,

Zequinox

This is a late entry. Fuck. It always seems like time just flies by.... Played a totally weird show show out behind a creepy biker bar in Erie, MI. Completely nice people, show up and they're burning all kind of nice walnut logs and there's a few dudes hanging out by the fire, eat some hot dogs and we wait to play. Why are Ohio people so nice? Not a whole lot of folks but the people who were there made it worth the drive. Folks from Adrian even showed up to tell me to update our stone age website... Great to see folks from the home town. I'll get to the site... urgh..

And then: Played with the almighty Zeke last night at the Elbo room, good times were had by all and we had an amp competition with the first prize going to everyone. Chapstik were working on yet another drummer, and we were so pent up from not playing that we burned the stage down and sent it flying into the parking lot. People kept coming up and saying "I've seen your name around but I've never seen you, I don't know why" We don't know why either. Come out next time before we cry.

K-zoo rocks

Kalamazoo ruled, thanks to all the diehards that showed. We need more people like you. We got pissed at one of the other bands and invaded the stage and started throwing their equipment onto the floor. We then beat them with baseball bats until they were bloody and unconscious. It totally ruled.

A dude with a Speed Metal hat from Midland gave us the horns. It totally ruled.

Working on tunes for the next record, which promises to be the best one yet. When it will come out, i don't know. But it will totally rule.

Mac Dirt Pig

Played with the dirtbombs last night. I don't really get why we get put on bills like that, it's not like we have all that much in common musically but this one turned out good. We don't play in this area nearly enough and it's always refreshing to see some new faces psyched out by our show. Detroit's an animal I won't ever get but so what, right?

On the other hand we played a metal show at Mac's on Wed, and got to watch all the posers leave as soon as we got on. I don't get that shit. If you are going to go to the trouble to go out to a emtal show, and call yourself a metal fan, shouldn't you check out ALL THE FUCKING BANDS and not just the one's you read about in fucking Terrorizer or some shit. I love metal, but I can't stand all the fucking publicity, hype nonsense that goes on in any kind of music. That shit reminds me of fucking lame ass indy rock! The other bands kicked as far as I was concerned, which is cool, but the fans that night can fuck off. All the dudes and dudettes who stayed are our eternal friends and completely rule. I don't read any magazines at all except National Geographic. There out to be a law.

Point of Entry

Fuck. This is our first entry into this blog thing. What the fuck? People keep telling us we need to update our website, this is probably the only way I'm going to regularly do anything to it, so here goes. If I piss anybody off with this thing, write me and we can fight. Ho ho.

Played in the D at the Holy Shit fest last night and totally ruled. Were able to kick out a couple of new tunes. Some dude came up and told us we sounded like Poison. This is after the door dude told us the headliner (us) were like mid period Steve Miller Band. Whatever happened to the Steve Miller Band? Do they put out records? I hope not. We need to put out more records though. Or people need to be buying more of our old ones. Come on people!
